Certified Tutor

I am a current pediatric emergency department Physician Assistant, EMT, and former IB student with my Bachelors of Science in Health Science and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. I've worked as an EMT for 5 years for private EMS, special events, a Rescue and EMS agency, and a college campus student run EMS agency. I worked as a certified CPR instructor, training officer, and Chief of my own EMS agency. I worked as the EMT class lab assistant as well, and was in charge of holding weekly study sessions as the training officer. School was not easy for me, and I always had to take extra time to understand and not memorize what I was learning. That's why I am so passionate about tutoring! In my sessions I will formulate explanations to meet you where you're at in understanding the material, and my goal is for things to "click" so you can finally have those "aha" moments for yourself. I'll help you build a strong foundation, and continue to build on that over sessions. I love science and medicine, and am excited to share my tips, tricks, and study skills with you!
