I hold a Master of Arts in Mathematics from Hunter College, where I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and intricacies of mathematical concepts. My academic journey has not only equipped me with a solid foundation in mathematics but has also fostered my passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with others.

Throughout my tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of working with students of varying ages and skill levels. I have tutored subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus and statistics. My favorite subjects to tutor are algebra and geometry, as they often serve as the building blocks for students' mathematical understanding. I find great joy in helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence in their abilities, particularly when they experience that "aha" moment.

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Outside of academia, I am passionate about musical theatre. I enjoy attending performances and even dabble in community theatre myself. This interest in the arts complements my love for mathematics, as both disciplines require creativity and critical thinking. I often find parallels between the two, such as the rhythm and patterns in music that mirror mathematical sequences.
