I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in academia. In addition to working for Varsity Tutors, I am an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College in Florida. I have a naturally sunny disposition and a resounding work ethic. I always cultivate a highly individualized, supportive, and collaborative atmosphere for student mentorship and advisement.

I was the recipient of the Helen Marie Witty Memorial Scholarship and the North Bay Village Optimist Club Scholarship. I was admitted early decision to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. I completed my undergraduate studies at NYU, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Literature, Theatre History, and Cinema Studies, with a minor in Irish Studies.

I earned a Master's degree in Philosophy of Theatre and Performance from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. My thesis topic was nationalism and iconography in Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Angels in America." I also collaborated on an original playwriting workshop presented at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.

I have worked with prestigious organizations in the performing arts and nonprofit sectors. I have professional experience with companies including United Way Miami; the National Jewish Theatre Foundation; the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County; and Miami-Dade College.

I currently teach college courses in Acting, Theatre Appreciation, Voice for the Stage, Playwriting, and Stage Management. My extensive background in project management and higher education gives me a strong foundation to help students achieve their academic, extracurricular, and professional goals.

I encourage students to explore internship opportunities because my own experiences with college internships were exceptionally meaningful and memorable. During my time in New York City, my college internships included 321 Theatrical Management (the Broadway production company responsible for the musical "Wicked"), Ford Models, and The Creative Coalition.
