Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Columbus State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and also earned a Servant Leadership certification. Since graduation, I have served 3 years as an Americorps - Teach for America educator. I tutored high school students in addition to teaching middle school Language Arts. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English Language Arts through reading and writing. I enjoy helping students prepare for Standardized Tests by teaching problem-solving skills. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be vital for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading which enriches my life, gardening, traveling and board games.
