I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BS in physics. My education has provided me with a thorough background in disciplines ranging from calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra to classical mechanics, E&M, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics. Currently, I work as a research technologist in the department of pharmacology at Northwestern University. I primarily perform electrophysiology experiments and analyze data in MATLAB and Python. I am very passionate about education, having served not only as a tutor, but also as a course assistant, teaching assistant, and Physics Olympiad instructor. Additionally, some of my undergraduate research has consisted of work in physics education and student cognition. Teaching helps me fortify my own understanding of material; being able to explain something effectively is the ultimate test of one's own mastery. In my free time, you'll likely find me watching a White Sox game.
