Certified Tutor

I'm very excited to be your tutor. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Reading and ESOL Endorsements. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I began teaching Preschool in 2012 after I graduated. Then I taught Kindergarten for 3 years and through this experience I learned that teaching primary aged learners is my passion. I went on to teach 5th grade Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies for 2 years. I was an afternoon tutor for math and reading for k-5 during my time as a public school teacher.

I would like to take my experience of public school teaching and apply it to my tutoring in a fun and new way! I believe that students learn best when they are engaged in hands on activities and that each learner has the opportunity to learn through various learning strategies.

I love all things Disney and I am an annual passholder for Walt Disney World. I am so excited to share my love of learning with you and I can't wait to meet your child soon!
