I graduated with a degree in physics from the University of Washington last year and I have been tutoring math and physics for the past 4 years. While contemplating career options, I realized that the highlight of my day was always my tutoring shift. Life has been far more enriching with both an education and the opportunity to assist others with their education. Additionally, the world we are entering is more demanding of critical thinking skills than ever, so it would be remiss of us not to emphasize intellectual growth. The subject I am most passionate about tutoring is mechanics since this is usually a student's first exposure to synthesizing physical theories with mathematical concepts. Overall, I take a conversational approach to tutoring where I try my best to relate the material to the student's life experiences while drawing more conventional analogies that are proven to make the concept click.

Before I became a tutor, I had aspirations to become a full time musician, but while this passion has taken a backseat, I still enjoy picking up a guitar or sitting down behind a drum set and jamming along with whoever. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, reading, rock climbing, dancing, and playing video games.
