I graduated from Williams college with a Bachelor's of Arts in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Public Health, and Honors in Neuroscience. With a strong liberal arts background I am passionate about seeking knowledge at the intersection of disciplines often studied in isolation. Though I love teaching and learning with students in a variety of subjects my favorite subjects to tutor are Spanish, Neuroscience, reading comprehension and writing. I find that these subjects offer a great opportunity to integrate a variety of learning styles and perspectives between a tutor and student. I love to find tools and tricks to help each individual understand concepts across a variety of subjects. Each area of study often requires different approaches to best understand new and recurring recurring concepts. My teaching style is focused on first understanding how a student learns best and then working on specific questions, problems, or curriculums with this perspective in mind. Outside of academia I love to cook, to play soccer, and am currently learning how to skateboard. Let's learn together!
