I am a Junior and Brigham Young University majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and I have lived in Utah for the past two years. I love all sciences especially Biology and Chemistry as they give me insight into what is going on in my body and the world around me. I learned Spanish while living in Ecuador for two years after graduating High School. While there I developed a love for the language and the people which inspired me to minor in this language. I have experience tutoring students in college level Biology and Chemistry as well as in different forms of math. I like to help students help themselves and guide them to answers instead of giving the answers. I believe this leads to deeper learning which will help them be independent because I won't be in class with them and I won't be whispering in their ears when they take a test.
