Daniela: Woodbury tutor
Certified Tutor
As an educator with over 25 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students of all
ages unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I believe in every student's ability to grow
and overcome challenges.
I have extensive experience working with students with various special needs, including autism,
Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and ADHD. My approach is centered on care, patience, and
understanding. I take the time to get to know my students, their environment, and their unique
needs to develop personalized plans that support their short, medium, and long-term goals.
I am committed to teaching essential executive function skills, such as time management,
emotional regulation, planning, and goal setting, that help students succeed both academically
and personally. I guide them in using these skills to manage obstacles with confidence, while
emphasizing the importance of seeking help and turning challenges into opportunities.
I also teach Spanish at all levels, from preschool to adult learners, I am certified also in Ap
Spanish Language and Culture. As a native Spanish speaker fluent in English, I view language
learning as a powerful tool to open doors to new opportunities, providing access to broader
perspectives, cultural experiences, and career growth.
My teaching style is fun, engaging, and motivating. I strive to create a dynamic learning
environment where students feel inspired and eager to learn. When students are excited about
their lessons, they're more likely to engage deeply and retain what they've learned.
I believe in the power of collaboration. When needed, I actively engage with teachers, parents,
and family members to develop a support system tailored to the student's needs, ensuring they
have the resources to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of each student's journey and excited to meet them
and begin working together. It's an honor to guide them towards their full potential.
