I have worked for 4 years as a peer-tutor, helping my fellow students with every kind of composition problem. I have extensive experience in broad-scale tutoring, including but not limited to: thesis formation, essay structure, logical flow, and aesthetic flow. Small-scale tutor challenges also play to my strengths as I excel in word-choice and improving sentence dynamics.
Apart from most tutors, I engage in a compassionate-style of tutoring, employing heavy focus on encouragement and reframing writing as a type of "play." Writing is an intimate expression of oneself and I look to grow student abilities through an expansive, indirect approach.
