About Your Tutor
I am a skilled tutor who is passionate about English literature and history, and has a specialization in teaching international students and pre-K. to learn about culture and working with international students. I am an experienced teacher with four years of nonprofit/legal experience, three years of marketing communications experience in the corporate world, and a Bachelor's of English from Northwestern University. I have five years of experience doing group instruction for English tutoring, and two years of private tutoring. I tutor Phonics, elementary school math, elementary English, reading, and writing.
The reason why I am proponent of education is because it really affects the intellectual and socio-emotional growth of a child and is essential to be a quality contributor to society. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy Pilates, cooking, and training for 5ks.
