Certified Tutor

My passion has always been to help students of any age reach their learning goals and reach their highest potential. I am excited to continue doing this through the Varsity Tutors platform. I am a certified bilingual elementary school teacher with endorsements that extend into middle school and high school in the subjects of Spanish as a world language, Spanish literacy and writing, and Social Studies. I was in my most recent position for five years as a dual language teacher instructing all elementary core subjects in English and Spanish. I also have experience teaching adults at the college and university level. For two years I worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. I taught online hybrid courses that met twice per week for a discussion section. Those courses were Intensive Elementary Spanish (Span. 122) and Intermediate Spanish (Span. 103). I am happy to help any students struggling in any of the subjects which are listed in my profile.
