Certified Tutor

After having spent 10 years practicing as a CPA I decided to pursue teaching and academic writing. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on accounting in 2007, and my Master of Accountancy from Millsaps College in 2012. I attended an international school in Belgium from second grade through my sophomore year of high school, where all classes were taught in English, but one in four of my classmates were American. That experience taught me how to communicate with so many different kinds of people, and I'm so thankful for that. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Accounting, Business Law and Ethics. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for the CPA. I have a knack for re-framing or reinterpreting a difficult topic or problem subject area in a way that makes it finally click for students that were struggling.
