I retired from the U.S. Army in 2014, after tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I trained soldiers in the Army during my time as a Non-Commissioned Officer. Recently, I graduated from the University of Texas - El Paso with a degree in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Creative Writing. I have written for many different publications and websites and continue to work as a freelance journalist. I believe that everyone can make it into college and succeed once there. A degree, whether high school or college, is attainable and should be everyone's mission. I want to be the one to help your student get there!
