Hi all! I'm Jackie, a 4th Grade teacher with 22 years of experience in teaching elementary school. I graduated from a top university where I majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish. I also earned a master's degree in Elementary Education as well as a permanent teaching certification for grades Pre-K to 6. I have taught in public, charter, and private schools, including six years spent teaching abroad. I love traveling and exploring more than anything else!
My varied experiences have allowed me to build a wide array of effective strategies across subject areas. I think that it's important to hold high standards while helping children develop a sense of pride and joy in what learning.
