Syed holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in National Security Studies. A recipient of the prestigious Posse Foundation scholarship, Syed has been tutoring since 2016 and has worked with over 100 students across age groups, subject areas, and learning needs.
He has supported learners ranging from pre-K to college and adult students, including many with learning differences such as ADHD, ASD, and Dyslexia. Syed currently serves as a Clinical Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine and has tutored with multiple leading education companies.
His approach combines visual aids, hands-on techniques, and interactive discussion to foster genuine understanding and long-term retention. Syed draws from his own educational journey to help students stay motivated and focused, adapting to each learner's unique style and goals.

Outside of tutoring, Syed is an adrenaline junkie with a love for cars and motorcycles. He also has a creative side, with a strong interest in interior design, and a deep curiosity for all things cerebral - from psychology and neuroscience to health optimization and personal development. He enjoys stand-up comedy, thought-provoking sci-fi like Black Mirror, and spending time with his husky.
