Hi! My name is Steven Davis and I am one of the tutors here at Varsity Tutors. I am from St. Louis, and attended Westminster Christian Academy in Town and Country. I recently graduated from Greenville University in Illinois and majored in History/ESL Education. I hold teaching certificates in both Missouri and Illinois in both History and ESL and am fluent in Spanish as well. I played football at Westminster and at Greenville and am currently coaching. In my free time, I enjoy learning about history, watching Star Wars, and cheering on my Cardinals and Blues. My philosophy of teaching is twofold; I want to create a safe environment where students can grow as critical thinkers. In other words, I don't want them to be afraid to make mistakes because that is the only way they can grow.
