Certified Tutor
I'm a recent Journalism and Mass Communications graduate from the University of Georgia. I minored in Psychology and Sociology.
I'm award-winning public speaker, debater, and speechwriter. I'm an alumnus of the historic Phi Kappa Literary Debate Society at the University of Georgia.
Beginning in high school, I started tutoring other AP and honors students after school and on the weekends. I have experience tutoring at all grade levels, including university students.
I'm particularly passionate about AP history, literature and language arts, psychology, social studies, essay writing, sociology, graphic design & Adobe CC, as well as elementary and middle school level sciences.
I come from a long line of teachers and educators- my mother is a kindergarten and first grade teacher, my brother is a lawyer and former university TA, and my boyfriend is a high school English teacher. I share their love of learning and teaching. I'm lucky to be able to compare notes with so many educators on the best strategies to help students of all different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
