Since high school, I have found myself frequently volunteering to help my friends and friends of friends with their homework. Being able to answer a question that is posed before you is a great feeling and I enjoy helping people reach that feeling of satisfaction and pride in themselves for accomplishing a task that may have seemed like a challenge.

I spent many years working as a sports camp counselor for elementary and high school aged children and have thoroughly enjoyed those experiences. The same energy and passion I brought to sports camp, I try to channel into my tutoring. I always ensure I stay motivated, engaged, and having fun so that my students will (hopefully!) feel the same. Simply put, I try to make learning and assignments not feel like a chore and pay attention to respond to the personality of the student so they feel that I am personally invested in their successes.
