I am a college sophomore at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I'm studying Communications, am heavily involved in Greek Life here at the U, and am in Air Force ROTC pursing a commission as an Air Force pilot once I graduate!
In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, flying airplanes (I got my pilot's license at 16), and socializing with my friends at college.

What is your teaching philosophy?
To help students build understanding from the foundations of even the most difficult concepts.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Find out what's important to that student, ask a few questions about activities they enjoy doing, and how they would best like me to help them learn.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By showing students that even the most advanced concepts can be understood by breaking them down, I aim to help them realize their own power to learn.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
By reminding them of the goals they set for themselves, whether those be a high ACT score or admission into a prestigious college, or even just increasing a letter grade in a class.
