Certified Tutor

I graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a Bachelor's in Political Science. In high school, I was a National Merit Scholar and a successful AP student, receiving a National AP Scholar distinction with particular emphasis on English and History AP courses.

I have tutored in a wide range of subjects throughout my undergraduate career. I was hired through the tutoring department to work with students on general Chemistry, English as a Second Language, and Statistics. I was a Teacher's Assistant for the Political Science department's Methodology course, working with students on quantitative theory and statistical analysis. I also staffed my college's math help center in its inaugural semester on campus, tutoring students as they walked in the door on anything from Pre-Calculus to Geometry to Statistics.

I've really loved working with students in my various capacities as a tutor. I relish the challenge of explaining concepts in a way that makes sense to them as well as me. At the end of the day, there's few things more satisfying than seeing someone's eyes light up when they finally understand how that tricky math problem can be solved!
