Hi!Although I am Arizona born and raised, my education includes an NYC law school degree with an undergraduate BS degree from University of Miami. In college I majored in Health Sciences with minors in Psychology and Public Health while in law school I leaned into corporate law and finance. Between law school and college I've pretty much covered every topic under the sun! In my spare time, I enjoy reading (especially mystery novels), pretending I'm a chef, and meditating.I have extensive experience tutoring family and friends at the middle school, high school, and college level in just about every topic, especially math and science courses. As I progressed through law school, my reading and writing skills improved significantly and I've picked up many tricks and tips I wish I could have used in lower school. The Operations Management program is a business program which utilizes science and math to solve business problems and make systems more effective and efficient.I have been working with people in the manufacturing sector for over thirty years. During that time I have had many opportunities to guide new employees and teach training classes. I even had the opportunity to act as a year-long technical advisor to three separate teams of university senior design teams as they completed their senior design project.I am excited about this opportunity with Varsity Tutors to help students!

I am currently an undergraduate student who is part of the Honors College at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am pursuing a Bachelors in Science Degree in Neuroscience with a Minor in Music. I am available to tutor students in a large variety of subjects , but I especially enjoy serving as a tutor for mathematics or science-related disciplines. In the past, I have had 2-3 years of experience (online and in-person) tutoring numerous high school students in disciplines as Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, and Chemistry. Even when not formally serving as a tutor, I have always felt inclined to provide other students with advice concerning time management skills and studying tips to ensure their prospective academic success.I also enjoy to serve as a test-prep tutor, particular for the ACT and various AP tests. I believe these tests have large implications upon determining one's aptitude for success in college, and, thus, I believe that their importance should not be undermined. Personally, I have also participated as a student in ACT-prep classes to become better educated on useful test-taking strategies and tips.
