Each person has a spec in them that makes them unique. These flaws can sometimes catapult us into the fourth dimension by making us more compassionate, understanding individuals. Dyslexia runs in my family, so I sought out a multisensory way to teach highly intelligent people who learn differently how to gain access to the knowledge they crave through print. In the upper grades, it is my mission to introduce students to a genre, author, or series that interests them in order to help them feel comfortable and enjoy reading. There is a whole new world out there in books, podcasts, audible books, etc. that will enable readers to gain access to new knowledge. It is my pleasure to stand along side of students to help them gain open the door to this new and wonderful place!
