I started tutoring math in high school and have really enjoyed it because tutoring gives me an opportunity to share all the little tips and tricks that I wish I knew earlier in my education. I love helping a student understand a seemingly complicated topic in a straightforward way that helps to develop a framework that makes math more interesting and coherent. My high school calculus teacher showed me the continuity of math and that it can be elegantly simple, sometimes you just need some help appreciating it.

I enjoy running, especially trail running. I joined cross country in high school and haven't stopped running since. I love all kinds of music, both playing and listening to it. I like to listen to rock and alternative and sometimes even classical music.
