About Me

I received my bachelor's of science degree in Health science from Boston University. In the future I plan to attend physician assistant school as well as getting a masters in public health nutrition. I have tutored many types of students over the years. I've worked with students from as young as preschool age to high school age. I've tutored fundamental reading skills in preschool children I tutored algebra, geometry, algebra 2 in high school students. Outside of the basic subjects I've tutored health subjects to inner-city high school students who lost their health program due to budget cuts. Throughout this, I really enjoy teaching math. Math was my favorite subject in school and it still makes me very excited to do math problems even now as an adult. With my students I tried to have them attempt a problem and observe their strategy. I've found that by observing how my students naturally work I can discover how to help them approach problems more effectively. Aside from tutoring I really enjoy reading and watching all types of movies. My favorite types of movies are action based, especially movies that are based off of Marvel and DC comic books. Additionally, I enjoy playing volleyball, tennis, and swimming.
