I grew up in a family of teachers. Before teaching first grade, I was a group leader for the PVUSD before and after school program. After that, I was a para-educator in a special education classroom. I was offered my first teaching job after that and I also am a part of my school's after the bell tutoring program. For this, am in charge of roughly 20 students ranging in grades 3-6 for homework assistance. I am very passionate about what I do. Teaching was a natural career path for me and I love growing with my students each day. In 2013, I was very honored to receive the "Teacher of the Year Award" from Office Max. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Education in 2009. I went on to Grand Canyon University and received my Masters in Education and Reading.
