About Me

I am a graduate of Wright State University in my home state of Ohio. I went on to attend Antioch University where I received my Masters in Early Childhood Education. My passion for teaching and learning then led me to Walden University where I obtained my Education Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership. I have taught K-5 in various subjects, but my favorite subject is reading! I love to make the connection for my students and see that spark that ignites once the connection is made! Each student is unique and I like that tutoring allows the opportunity to tailor the lesson to an individual's preference and development versus the one size fit all we often find in classrooms!
