About Me

I really like to help students that want to learn how to learn. I have worked as a teacher and tutor with students of all ages from preschool to junior college. I have taught and tutored students one on one as well as in groups. I have tutored in person in homes, schools and online. I have taught in many places which includes Ohio, NC, SC, Alaska, England, Colorado and NV while married to a member of the USAF,I have worked with students of various cultures including Hispanic, African-American, British, Vietnamese, Thailand and German. It is a joy to see a student get excited after learning and really understanding a concept then solving a problem by themself..I received my dual BS in Mathematics w/ computer concentration and Mathematics Education from Wright State University. I earned my Masters in Education specializing in Technology and Learning from Western Governors University which was strictly online. I tutor Math for Elementary, Middle and High School especially Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Test Prep, and Discrete Math. My favorite thing I would say is Geometry since it works with real world problems that includes lines, shapes and figures.
