I'm currently a junior at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor working to earn a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies with a minor in Pedagogy, and a focus on grades 7-12. I aspire to earn a full K-12 certification. At the University, I am a humanities tutor as well as the French TA and tutor. I tutor a wide range of subjects, but my favorites are in the social studies realm. Teaching economics, government, and history is so rewarding because these subjects affect us all every day, and are important to build strong and capable citizens. Ever since I mentored in high school, I have loved helping students determine and achieve their goals. My goal is to give you study skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm for success until you're soaring past me! In my free time I enjoy volunteering as a firefighter, hiking, and watching history documentaries.
