About Me

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas. While at university, I taught as a TA for General Chemistry II, leading small group lectures before being promoted to the head of Supplemental Instruction for Chem II. Here I taught students with various educational backgrounds and abilities ranging in ages 17-65. Following graduation, I obtained my teaching license and was endorsed in Biology for grades 6-12. The most important thing I have learned as a teacher is that our schools teach one way- but students learn a million different ways. I look forward to getting to know how you or your student learns and tailoring a tutoring program that will not only work toward academic achievement but also help in discovering strengths in critical thinking, reasoning, and independent thought.
