About Me

I am a graduate of The University of South Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education. Since graduation, I have taught Mathematics in various institutions, starting with adults in Tampa looking to receive a GED diploma; students in Middle School where I was a special needs teacher, co-teacher and then 7th Grade Mathematics teacher; and high school students grades 7 to 11 at an International School in Kingston Jamaica. While I tutor a broad range of Math courses and curriculums, I am most passionate about helping my students love math. In my experience, I enjoy helping struggling students work for and achieve set goals, improve ability and confidence. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
