About Me
I am a special education teacher with an MA in Special Education and a Reading Teacher endorsement. I am passionate about literacy and love working with young students. I lived in Brazil for 30 years, and for the last 6 years there, I worked as a Reading Interventionist, working one-on-one with K-12 students who were having difficulties with phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
Hobbies & Interests
In my spare time, I volunteer with a literacy program in the public schools, read (of course!), travel, and bake.
