I furthered my education at Franciscan University and received my Master's degree in Education and Reading. Since graduation, I have taught 10+ years as a kindergarten teacher but have recent experience with 3rd grade students! I am passionate about student success in all areas but especially reading. My approach to teaching young minds is to do it in a variety of ways, depending on each student's learning styles and interests! We are all different learners and I love to harvest that for each student. I like to add music, physical activity, movement, and fun to all of my lessons! In addition to having fun while learning, I have clear expectations and manage behavior and time wisely. I absolutely love teaching/tutoring students! In my spare time, I enjoy family time spent with my husband, children, and pets. We spend much of our time outdoors and staying busy.

My interests include exercising, traveling, reading, and mostly spending time with my family.
