I learned best utilizing a hands-on method of learning. As a tutor, I strive to use this same hands-on method of teaching to further commit lessons to memory for students. I have spent 2 years substitute teaching for a school district, and have spent the last 5 years helping children meet developmental milestones as an Occupational Therapy Assistant/teaching role for a day camp and home health. I firmly believe that all people are capable of learning extraordinary amounts of knowledge, however it is how the knowledge is delivered and that each person learns in their own way. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, I have learned how to help people recognize how they learn information and provide strategies to help navigate learning new information and maintaining old information. It is my mission to strive to provide a learning/teaching method that is tailored to each student and their unique abilities.

I enjoy singing, playing music, dance, drawing, writing, crocheting, any time I am able to use creativity, spending time with my animals and husband, exploring new places, attending museums and other artistic venues
