I have lots of experience tutoring in schools and online and assistant teaching in different classrooms. I spent last summer tutoring 2 Spanish speaking children ages 10 and 11 in English. I was also hired by my college to be a remote tutor for a professor's kids ages 8 and 11 in all subjects. I also was a tutor and mentor for a 6th grade student at Waterville Maine Junior High and tutored her in all subjects as well (math, science, social studies, english). I am passionate about helping students who are struggling to learn online right now and I have lots of strategies and tricks for creating engaging and fun virtual tutoring sessions. I have always loved working with kids because I have four siblings and I also know how important it is for students to have online sessions with someone kind and encouraging.

I love reading books and writing poetry. I love taking my dog on walks on the beach in Rhode Island and I love to travel. My favorite place I have travelled is Hawaii because of the amazing hikes! I want to work in schools after college as a teacher or guidance counselor.
