About Me

I am a graduate from UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development: Child, Youth and Family Studies. I am passionate about early intervention and education. I believe every student deserves a fighting chance at excelling in their grade level. I've been a mentor at the YWCA with teen mothers for about 3 years and worked with elementary school students at the Boys and Girls Club. Within my time at both of these organizations I realized I have a true gift of connecting with young students and giving them the tools to succeed. My favorite subjects to tutor is anything related to ELS, Social Sciences and basic Spanish. I've always excelled in English and loved writing even as a young child. As a tutor I am dedicated, thorough and encouraging. I am great at adapting to my students needs and pushing them to be the best they can be!
