About Me
Additionally, I was on the pre-medical track and am pursuing a career in medicine. Currently, I am working as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I focus on building functional communication skills with children with autism. I am passionate about languages, education, healthy lifestyle building, and forming positive relationships. In my experiences teaching fellow and younger students with Writing, Languages, Math, and Health concepts, we find that the most growth comes from being open about what is difficult and where we can genuinely improve. I strongly believe that this transparency allows us to create actions steps to tackle each difficult concept and question. To me, the most rewarding part of seeing a student grow is watching them become more confident in their abilities to comprehend their work and solve complex questions. I am excited to continue working with students and help them build their confidence and problem-solving skills.
Hobbies & Interests
From a young age, I have been invested in dance (Indian classical, contemporary, modern), music, and art. I also enjoy yoga, running/hiking outdoors, and cooking new recipes from various cuisines, which are all activities that energize me.
