I am a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (2020) and a Master's of Engineering in Civil Engineering (2021) with a focus in structural engineering. My teaching experience dates back to 2015 when I began as a swim instructor for the YMCA. However, I first began tutoring academic lessons in 2018 at the University of Louisville. At UofL, I have tutored classes such as Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Hydraulics, Economics, and Statistics. From peer tutoring, I developed a tutoring philosophy known as scaffolding, which I use now as much as possible. Scaffolding is a tutoring style that builds from a common understanding that the student has, and it grows to an understanding of a new topic. Outside of academia, I love sports, especially basketball and football, swimming, and video games.
