This was the foundation of my love for the English language. It is so important to have a foundation to build upon. This is the reason I tutor, to give students a foundation to build upon for a lifetime of learning. Learning should both be engaging and fun. As a writer and Poet I love the play of words that Poetry provides me. Equally important is the sound of reading. It is music to the ears of the listener. I attended the University of Louisville. During my time in graduate school, I once remarked that if I could earn a living learning, this would be the life for me. Most fortunately, I found teaching which has afforded me the opportunity to always be in arena of learning. Anything that I want to know is within my grasp. My formative years of schools have provided me the motivation to love learning and school. I want to impart this love to the students I tutor.
