About Me

As a recent college graduate of Tulane University, I understand the hustle and bustle of studying for tests and writing long essays. As a tutor, I am here for you, or for your child, to help them succeed academically and ease the stress of being a student. My major in Sociology made writing and editing papers second nature for me, and my major in Dance taught me how to be creative with problem-solving and teaching. My best tutoring subject would definitely be essay writing/editing because I know what a good paper should look like. Friends have come to me in the past to help them edit not only essays, but legal documents! Additionally, my high scores on the ACT show that the ways I prepared for my ACT were successful, and I can help you in the same ways. Previous teaching experience includes teaching choreography! I have taught young kids ages 3-6, musical theater kids with little training, as well as highly trained collegiate dancers. I understand the need to adjust my teaching style depending on the level and age of my students. Interests outside of academia include dance and music. I was Co-Captain, Vice President, and Social Media Manager of the Tulane Shockwave Dance Team, the official dance team of Tulane University. I also served as Treasurer and Public Relations Manager of the NJBeats A Cappella Group, Tulane's premiere Jewish a cappella group! I will always tutor as I would want to be tutored, which is with patience, understanding, and my full, undivided attention. I genuinely care that you, or your child, succeeds, and I will do my absolute best to ensure that happens!
