In 2017, I co-founded a wind power business that has been funded by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, US Department of Agriculture, and US Air Force. My approach to tutoring math and physics is to incorporate real life use cases. When students see the practical application of a subject, they are more likely to enjoy and understand it. I will incorporate aspects of renewable energy, wind power in particular, into my tutoring. Renewable energy is one of the fastest growing industries in the US and integrating it into a student's lessons can stimulate interest in a promising career path. Outside of mechanical engineering, my personal interests are soccer, carpentry, and kiteboarding.
