About Me

Before the pandemic , I had been a long-term substitute teacher for several years. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than having the opportunity to work with a student one on one. Having experienced students understanding a concept for the first time, and watching how that excitement leads to an overall increase in their confidence, which in turn leads to improvement in the classroom, is very rewarding. I also enjoy the challenge of finding "just the right way" to engage with a new student so they never "feel dumb or embarrassed " about information they don't know. The quicker I can establish a safe and trusting learning environment for them, the quicker we can start achieving our goals!
