About Me

Learning should above all, be fun! Granted, most of my tutoring and teaching experience has been with Elementary School ages, but as with any aspect of life and learning, I believe it is possible to adapt any subject area to make it interesting, either by changing the way it is taught or switching the way it is viewed into a more positive mindset. I have an Elementary (K-8) general teaching certificate, a 7-12 English teaching certificate, as well as an AZ fingerprint clearance card and First Aid and CPR Certification. I enjoy working with all ages. My most enjoyable teaching and tutoring moments have been watching people problem solve a new way to accomplish a task on their own, and see how that enables them to start taking the initiative for their own learning and problem solving.
