About Me

I have been a professional tutor for the past two years, and have enjoyed many success stories with students (a number of whom have gone on to attend Ivy League schools).I love demystifying the standardized testing experience, and was was a proficient test-taker myself (earning a 2250/1500 on the SATs, and perfect scores on all AP exams taken), and am very sensitive to student anxiety, as I suffered from it myself. I've developed some effective rituals and coping mechanisms to help manage stress surrounding testing, and general tribulations of life in high school, college, and the workplace. I also have experience classroom teaching (in world languages, specifically Latin and Spanish), which has given me the skills necessary to communicate with students effectively, and adapt instruction to students' individual needs. I am a New Hampshire resident, able to commute to Massachusetts as needed, and am widely available for online clients during the Academic Year. I am eager to begin a rewarding career with Varsity Tutors!
