My tutoring philosophy is one that focuses on the goals of the individual and uses their personal talents to strengthen their knowledge base. As a Biologist, I have developed a wide range of academic skills from mathematics, philosophy, psychology, and presentation to help give a holistic, well-rounded experience to students. In my research, I have facilitated undergraduate training in research skills, animal care, and data analysis, resulting in 4 undergraduate authored publications. Besides extensive experience in tutoring, I am also very friendly, attentive, and patient with students. I have worked with children from kindergarten through graduate school and understand the nuances of teaching at each level. As a tutor, I focus on understanding the reasons and principles behind theories so that the student can become confident in their understanding of materials beyond what they learn with me. I look forward to the growth and joy each student acquires as a result of academic success.
