About Me

My first college degree came from the University of Michigan. I graduated with a bachelor of arts in communications, specializing in journalism and screen studies (film and tv!). I worked as a film publicist in NYC for four years before deciding to go back to school to fulfill my first passion - working in the medical field. In January of 2019, I graduated from NYU with my accelerated second bachelors degree in nursing and successfully passed the NCLEX on my first attempt in April 2019. I currently work as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. With my background, I really enjoy tutoring pre-nursing and nursing students as they navigate their way through this amazing industry. I work with a variety of student whether it's students fresh out of high school or, like myself, students that decided they wanted to go back and pursue another degree. I personally believe that every student must be treated as the individual they are. Everyone learns differently and it is up to me and the student I work with to figure out what works best for them when it comes to expanding upon and enhancing their learning. I look forward to working with each and every one of you!
