About Me

For over 13 years, I have been tutoring independently and for Learning Centers, In-Home Tutors, and other professional Tutoring services. My passion for watching students learn and grow is evident in my work. I make learning fun and enjoyable while accomplishing educational goals. I have a Master's Degree in School Counseling and I am working toward a PhD in Counselor Education. I have tutored elementary students (language arts, reading and math), middle school students (reading, math, science, social studies and algebra), high school students (ACT prep, math, algebra I & II, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, reading & vocabulary, English literature, chemistry, biology, and study skills), and college students (math, statistics, accounting, economics, pre-calculus & calculus, and study skills).I understand the desire to see your child succeed and the frustration of seeing your child struggle. I have a passion for helping students feel better about themselves and about learning. Seeing students I've worked with build their confidence and enjoy learning is so rewarding!
