Every now and then, when I allow myself to, I can remember my right hand anxiously flying across a lined sheet of paper with a #2 pencil held awkwardly, yet determinedly in my fingers. These flashbacks are like dreams, silent whispers of the past that were written through the filter of untouched ideas that only fresh minds can encompass. These memories all add up to where I am today, a graduate of New York University. I have the power to affect change and share the truth in the most unbiased fashion possible. And now I wish to share the impact that English and writing has had on my life with others. Whether this means helping students with college essays or just proofreading assignments, a grasp on the English language has affected me greatly and now I wish to give that back.
