I am skilled in media such as video, online course materials (such as Blackboard and/or Sakai) and web sites to engage students in learning. I believe that students should be offered the most innovative methods of teaching in order to prepare them for the real world. My personal philosophy is to make the subject applicable to the students and realistic beyond theory. In addition to textbook information, my classes include current events and case studies to make the content of the course relevant to the students interest.
